Two of my favorite things to come across are old Personal Journals and Artist Portfolios. This wonderful Tree Notebook is a combination of both. I picked up at a Goodwill last week and have been musing through it's contents ever since.
This Field and Camp Notebook documents the 1929 Hamptons Summer School course of Cora Meadows from Maryland. During this course, she studies trees, branches and leaves...and draws beautiful examples of many of the species throughout the book.
In addition to her own personal sketches, the book has so many wonderful drawings to help identify different species of trees.
In addition to this wonderful Notebook, I picked up lots of other Home Decor & Linens. These goodies have already been listed in my shop...and you can check them out on my New This Week post from Friday.

That field notebook is great! I didn't see it in your shop...do you plan to list it or has it, perhaps, already been listed and sold?
ReplyDeleteHey Britttany, thanks for your message. I'll probably keep this one for my own collection, but will definitely keep you in mind if I decide to list it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog :-)
